Teacher Appreciation day falls this year on May 2 and I am determined not to be scrambling the night before on cards and gifts. My daughter's teachers deserve better! So for my project, I chose to work with Teacher Talk stamp set, the Teacher word die, and the Stitched Mats Rectangle dies.
I stamped the apple images onto a panel of white card stock in shades of red, pink, yellow and green and added in details like seeds, hearts and words with black ink. Once the stamping was complete, I die cut the panel with the largest Stitched Mat rectangle die. The stitched mat adds so much interest to the simple rectangle shape, and I love that Lil' Inker was the first to offer this innovative design.
I die cut "teacher" from bright pink card stock and stamped the sentiment just below the die cut word onto a rectangle which was die cut with one of the smaller Stitched Rectangles Mats dies.
I added just a few clear sequins to the card and I'm going to call this one complete! I'll make a few more of these and I will be all set for Teacher Appreciation Day!
