Wonderful Day Floral Bouquet Card {Avery Elle}

Hello friends,

I am excited to be on the Avery Elle blog today sharing a card that I made with the absolutely stunning Floral Bouquet stamp set and coordinating Elle-ments die.

I stamped the image twice onto white Copic friendly paper and colored the blooms and leaves with Copic markers.  I arranged the florals along the right edge of my notecard and trimmed off the excess.

I stamped the sentiment with black ink before adhering the florals to the card.  I popped up the top floral cluster with a bit of foam tape.  For a finishing touch, I adhered a few clear droplets with glossy accents.

Well that's all for me today, but be sure to stop by the Avery Elle blog for even more inspiration from the design team!

Avery Elle Summer 2017 Blog Hop!

Hello, hello friends,

So excited for today to share with you my very first project using Avery Elle's Summer 2017 release! It's one that's definitely cool for the summer!

I used the Cool Treats stamp set to do a little "no line" coloring with Copic Markers.  What you do is stamp your images with a light ink- here I used Distress Ink Antique Linen and when you color the image with your markers, the outline of the stamp disappears like magic!

Once everything was colored in, I stamped the faces onto the cool treats with brown ink and with a Copic friendly pen, I drew the detail back onto the ice cream cone.

I die cut the finished panel with the Pierced Rectangle die and stamped the sentiment onto a die cut from the Pierced Banner Layers Elle-ments dies

This Calls for Mimosas {Avery Elle}

Hello friends,

I am on the Avery Elle blog today sharing a card I made with the Mimosas stamp set.  A list of the Avery Elle products I used on my card is below.

This is my second blog post today.  If you are looking for the Reverse Confetti Birthday Bash Blog hop, click here.

I stamped and heat embossed the Mimosa glasses and sentiment in gold onto white cardstock cut with the Scalloped Pierced Banner Elle-ments die. I used a Versamark marker inside the glasses and brushed on Perfect Pearls in gold.

I crafted the background by stamping the beautiful floral image onto a panel of watercolor card stock repeatedly. I was planning to do some "no line" watercoloring, but decided that I liked the monochromatic effect of just the line image.

Countdown to Confetti Birthday Blog Hop {Reverse Confetti + CardMaker Magazine}

Hello friends,

I am so excited to be helping Reverse Confetti kick off their 4th Birthday Bash with a Blog Hop featuring the Reverse Confetti and CardMaker Magazine teams.  All of the details about the birthday celebrations can be found on the Reverse Confetti blog

You should have arrived here from the lovely Kat Benjamin's blog, but if you just happened upon this post, the entire hop list is available at the Reverse Confetti blog or the CardMaker Magazine blog

My card today features one of the stamp sets and Confetti Cuts from the upcoming release.  It's called Miso Happy and it's super darling.

I started with a panel of Ranger Distress Watercolor card stock and added a wash of watercolor pigment using Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. Once that was dry, I followed up with a bit of spatter ink from Studio Calico in Custard.

I stamped and die cut the pandas, bamboo and bowls of soup coloring them in with Copic Markers.  I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment on a strip of black card stock and adhered all the elements to the watercolored panel before adhering the completed panel to a green note card.

Well, you've got lots of places to visit today, so I won't hold you up.  Your next stop on the hop is the super talented Melissa Bickford

Happy hopping!
