Cheers! Sketch Challenge 134

Good morning!

Just sharing a little card I created for Skipping Stones latest sketch challenge.  Our sketch artist this month has been the fabulous Cyndi Bundy and out talented guests have been Megan Aaron and Connie Mercer.

This week, we are featuring Margarita Birthday which is a super fun set!  I don't know about you, but frosty drinks always make me think about summer! Yea!

Here is my card:

Please forgive the dark background.  We had a yard sale at the house last weekend, and the spot normally dedicated to my project photography has been overrun my baby clothes and pricing stickers.  :o)

Anyway, I stamped the margarita glass and sentiment on a circle of cream cardstock.  I added some stickles along the rim to accentuate the sugar or salted rim.I then mounted the circle on some teal paper that I cut with Spellbinders Label 18.  I stamped and cut out a few lime wedges from Grapeful (new release May) and arranged them at the top like the banner you see in the sketch.  The patterned papers are from Heidi Swapp's Sugar Rush collection. I tied a black and white sheer ribbon around my finished card panel and adhered the panel to a black cardstock card base.

Here is another peek at this week's sketch:

Now it's your turn to play along!  Head over to the Skipping Stones blog to link up your take on this week's sketch!  One randomly selected player will receive a free Skipping Stones set of choice and there is nothing better than free stamps!!  You don't even have to have out stamps to play along.  While you are there, check out the awesome cards by our Design Team and Guests- just the thing to get the mojo going!

That's it for me today.  Thank you so much for stopping by!
