Avery Elle- Winter 2021 Blog Hop

Hello friends!

Today we're celebrating Avery Elle's Winter 2021 New Release with a Blog Hop full of awesome inspiration and ideas using all the newest goodies!

I am working with the More Critter Circle Tags stamp set today and decided to make a Valentine's card using the Toucan tag and an older Elle-ments set with a lovey twist.

I stamped the tag with Versmark ink and heat embossed the image with gold embossing powder. I colored the toucan in pinks and purples and added a few details with a white gel pen.

I pulled out the Leafy Frames Elle-ments dies and die cut some ombre and plaid patterned paper with the large rectangle frame. I placed the tag and layered frames onto an A-2 notecard and figured out a spot for the Happy Valentine's Day sentiment.

As a finishing touch, I die cut and adhered some of the hearts from the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments set.

Avery Elle Fall 2021 Release and Blog Hop!

Hello friends!

I am so excited that the Avery Elle Fall 2021 Release has arrived. With this latest release you'll find loads of amazing stamps and dies for your fall and holiday crafting.

I have a card to share with you today featuring the new Merry Elle-ments die. I love the playful and mod styling of this festive word die. I die cut the word from several shades of card stock, snipped apart the letters and glued them to a plain white Merry die cut that acted as a base for all the colorful letters.

I repeated the process two more times and adhered the Merry words to a white card stock panel cut with the stitched rectangle from the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments die

I added a few stars (also from the Easy Layers Elle-ments set) and adhered the finished panel to an A2 notecard that I covered with some patterned paper from The Holiday Collection paper pad

For a summary of all of the new Avery Elle products that are available for purchase right now check out this section in our store.

We have an amazing blog hop full of inspiration today and we are so glad that you are here.

Island Time {Avery Elle}

Hello friends,

Could you use a little Island Time? After the past year, I know I could! I was able to plan a little island escape via a card using the adorable Island Time stamp set. Island Time has all the elements you need to create a darling, tropical scene.

I stamped all my images, colored them with Copic Markers and die cut the stamped images using the coordinating Island Time Elle-ments dies.

Next, I die cut a panel of white card stock with the large stitched rectangle from the Easy Layers Elle-ments dies. I blended a circle of yellow ink using Distress Oxides in Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard Seed. I adhered the stamped images and stamped the sentiment onto the panel with Versafine ink. As a finishing touch, I adhered a few flat clear sequins.

Slimline Sweet Day {Avery Elle}

Hello friends,

Popping in today with a card featuring the absolutely adorable Sweet Day stamp set and the new Slimline Borders Elle-ments dies from Avery Elle.

I stamped the images from the Sweet Day stamp set and colored them with Copic Markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and set them aside while I built the slimline background.

First, I cut a panel of watercolor card stock to 3.5" x 8.5 inches. I blended about one-third of the way down the panel with Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled Glass. I spattered the panel with water and white ink. Next, I cut the wavy border and grassy border from a piece of Neenah Solar White card stock and blended them with Black Soot to create pavement and Mowed Lawn and Twisted Citron to create grass. I adhered the borders to the panel of watercolor card stock.

I adhered the stamp images to the panel, stamped the sentiment and adhered the completed panel to a slimline card base.

Snappy Birthday Wishes {Avery Elle}

 Hello friends,

I have  a card on the Avery Elle blog this week featuring the new Oh Snap stamp set, Hooray Elle-ments die and Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments die.

I just adore this snappy crocodile. He's so festive and we have lots of celebrations planned for this summer. To make the card, I die cut a panel of Neenah Solar White card stock with the large stitched die from the Easy Layers 1 Elle-ments set. Next, I blended the die cut panel with two shades of Distress Oxide inks- Worn Lipstick and Dried Marigold. I spattered the panel with white ink and set it aside to dry.

I stamped the crocodile with black ink, colored him with Copic Markers, and die cut the image using the coordinating Elle-ments die. I blended a small rectangle of Distress Heavystock with more Distress Oxide Inks- Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Squeezed Lemonade, Twisted Citron and Salvaged Patina. I die cut the Hooray Elle-ments from the blended panel.

I adhered the Hooray die cut at the bottom of the large blended panel and set the crocodile on top of the die cut. I pulled out the Speech Bubble stamp set and created a speech bubble to hold the "It's Your Birthday" sentiment. I added a few flat star sequins and attached the completed panel to an A2 card base.

Layered Cupcake {Avery Elle}

Hello friends,

I have a card to share today featuring Avery Elle's new Layered Cupcake clear stamps. I was immediately intrigued when I spied the previews for this set, but I was a little apprehensive too because layered stamps can be tricky.

Once I figured out the layering line up (hint- align towards the bottom, not the top,) it was pure magic. seeing all the layers come together was like watching heat embossing for the very first time. Seriously! I fell in love fast!

I got a little carried away making layered cupcakes and two of them found their way onto this card. I die cut the images using the coordinating Elle-ments dies and adhered them to a panel of card stock cut with the Wonky Stitches Elle-ments die. I added a couple clear flat sequins and a sentiment from the Sweet Day clear stamps.

Avery Elle Summer 2021 Release and Blog Hop!

Hello friends,

I am excited to be celebrating Avery Elle's Summer 2021 release today. There's a fun blog hop with loads of inspiration featuring all the goodies from the new line up.

I have a couple cards to share using the adorable piggy from the Life stamp set.

The Life clear stamps coordinates well with the Sweet Day stamp set, so I built a little scene featuring the two. It is my fervent wish that PIggy's ice cream is swiftly replaced by the kind ice cream truck bear.

For my second card, I used only the Life clear stamps along with the Scallop Mat die. The wavy banner is from the new Easy Layers Elle-ments die set.

I blended a bit of Distress Oxide ink in Tumbled Glass and Twisted Citron on the dotted oval. I stamped  and die cut the images and colored them using Copic Markers. I curved the sentiment slightly and stamped it with black ink on the wavy banner.

Rainbow of Get Well Wishes

Hello friends,

I am on the Avery Elle blog this week with a card featuring the Everyday Circle Tag stamp set. This set makes fantastic tags and coordinates perfectly with the Holiday Circle Tag Dies. With its stylish font and design, this has quickly become my go-to sentiment set!

I pulled out the Rainbow Elle-ments Die and made a shaped card with a touch of glitter card stock and lots of bright and beautiful colors. I added the smiling sun from the Sunshine stamp set peeking over the rainbow.

In the clouds, I stamped the "Get Well Soon" sentiment. A bright and cheery rainbow will hopefully brighten the recipient's day!

On the back of. the card, I added` the "Handmade with Love" sentiment and the hand drawn heart. The Everyday Circle Tags ``set truly has it all!

Looking for Rainbows?

Hello friends,

Are you looking for rainbows? I am! Always! I am on the Avery Elle blog this week with a couple rainbow cards to share featuring the Happy Birthday Die and Look for Rainbows clear stamps.

First, I made a shaker card with the Happy Birthday die. I blended Distress Ink on a panel of Distress Heavystock and die cut the Happy Birthday greeting.

Next I made a shaker element with the Oval Burst Elle-ment die using lots of sparkly clear sequins! I attached the shaker to a notecard covered with a piece of patterned paper. I adhered the rainbow die  to the shaker and added a few clear flat sequins as a finishing touch.

My next rainbow card uses the aptly named Look for Rainbows set. First I created the rainbow background with  a cloud edge stencil and Distress Inks. Next, I stamped the Bunny, puddle, and water drops and colored them with Copic Markers.

I die cut the stamped images with the coordinating Elle-ments dies and arranged them on the background. I adhered the panel to a notecard and stamped the sentiment with black ink.

Peek-a-Boo Birthday Tag Toppers {Avery Elle}

 Hello friends,

Popping in to share a card featuring Avery Elle's Peek-A-Boo Birthday Tag Toppers dies. These cute critters are the perfect size for tags, but they can be used for cards too!

For my card, I used the lion and hippo to make a wild birthday card. I die cut the animals and hats from card stock and assembled the images. Next I die cut the Happy Birthday die from black card stock.

To pull all these elements together, I used the banner and one of the sentiments from the Peek-A-Boo Jungle clear stamps. I blended a panel of watercolor card stock with a couple shades of Distress Oxide Ink and added a die cut frame from the Fairy Ephemera pack. You can also use the Leafy Frame Elle-ments die to create your own!

Hello Sunshine {Avery Elle}

Hello friends,

Katie here with a card and technique to share with you featuring Avery Elle's Loads of Hello stamp set. Loads of Hello is such a great set and the main sentiments are a substantial size and easily command attention on a card.

One of my favorite techniques for sets with big and bold sentiments is to substitute an image for a letter.

For this technique, I selected the "hello" sentiment. I stamped and die cut 'hello" and cut off the "o" and replaced it with the sun image from the Sunshine stamp set.

To reinforce the sunshine vibe, I added the "sunshine" text block from the Loads of Hello set. I created the background using the Oval Burst Elle-ments die and the Cloud Mat Elle-ments die. I backed the oval with a gradient blue piece of patterned paper from the Spring Collection paper pad. I also added a couple clouds I had previously cut using the Cloud Mat die.

Once everything was adhered into place, I added a few clear sequins as a finishing touch.

Supplies:

I hope this idea inspires you to look at new ways to combine your sentiments and images! Thanks for stopping by!

Avery Elle Spring 2021 New Release!

Hello friends,

I am so excited to share my first projects from Avery Elle's Spring 2021 Release.  I have two cards to share with you today featuring the absolutely adorable and charming Elephantastic stamp set.

For my first card, I blended Distress Ink onto a panel of water color card stock to create grass and sky. Next, I stamped the images onto white card stock and colored them with Copic markers.

I die cut the images using the coordinating Elephantastic Elle-ments dies and arranged them onto the blended panel. I adhered the images to the panel and stamped the sentiment in black ink.

For my next card, I decided to create a slimline design.  I used a stencil made with the Pierced Clouds Elle-ments die (Retired) and lots of shades of Distress Oxide ink to create a rainbow cloud background. I spattered the background with both water and white ink to create the ink lift effect.

I stamped and colored the images using Copic markers.  I die cut the images using the coordinating Elle-ments dies and a scrap of white card stock with the Pierced Clouds die. I adhered the images to the card and stamped a sentiment from the new Circle Tags stamp set in black ink. It's hard to spot in the photos, but I used a clear Wink of Stella glitter brush marker to add a little extra sparkle to the stars!

Sending Hugs {Avery Elle}

 Hello friends,

Katie here with a couple of cards to share with you using Avery Elle's absolutely adorable Sending Hugs stamp set.

For my first card, I stamped the envelop and the koala onto white card stock and colored the images with Copic markers.

I die cut the images with the coordinating Elle-ments dies and adhered them to the Quilted Frame Elle-ments die cut. I stamped the sentiment on the envelop image and attached the die cut frame to an A-2 notecard.

For my second card, I die cut the XOXO elements three times on an A2 panel. Behind the die cut panel, I adhered strips of card stock cut in 1/4" strips.

Inside the "O"s I adhered three of the cute critters from the Sending Hugs set. I stamped the images onto white card stock, colored them with Copic Markers and die cut them with the coordinating Elle-ments dies. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of white card stock and adhered it to the card.
