Introducing Frosty Friends- Avery Elle Fall 2017 Blog Hop!

Hello friends,

I am so excited to be participating today in a blog hop celebrating the release of Avery Elle's Fall 2017 collection of stamps and dies.  Today, I am sharing a card featuring the Frosty Friends stamp set and coordinating Frosty Friends Elle-ments dies.

Ok, so how cute are these snow people?  I adore their vintage look, and they were a delight to color in and shade with Copic markers.  I stamped, colored and die cut the snow people and adhered them to a panel of watercolor cardstock.

I used Distress Oxide ink in Cracked Pistachio to create the soft green background.   I stamped a few of the snow flakes included in the stamp set onto the inked background and added the sentiment with black ink.

Before adhering the stamped panel to a pink notecard, I die cut the bottom edge of the watercolor panel with the Dotted Borders Elle-ments die, and I adhered some clear sequins as a finishing touch.

To celebrate the Summer 2017 Release Blog Hop, Avery Elle is giving away a $25 Gift Certificate to one random winner.  To enter to win just comment on this post.  There is no purchase necessary and you must be 18 years of age or older to enter.  This giveaway is void where prohibited.  You have until midnight Sunday, August 13th to enter.  The winner will be announced on the Avery Elle Blog on Monday, August 14.  All products are available for purchase in the Avery Elle store right now.

  14. I like the delicate color scheme. It's a refreshing change from the bright reds and greens that are often a part of winter holiday cards.
