The Papertrey Ink blog hop challenge this month is scallops....the best use of scallops, of any sort, on a project! This can include scalloped borders, offset-scallops, stamped scallops, scalloped mats, scalloped frames, layered scallops, scalloped tags or anything else you can dream up!
My offering this month is a card with oodles of scallops- check it out below!
Here are a couple more views:
The card was made with Pretty Pastels patterned paper cut into scallops with an EK Success scallop punch. I used the tea dye ink on the edges of the scallops to help them stand out a bit. After creating the layers of scallops, I ran the card panel through my cuttlebug with the Linen Impression Plate. The focal point stamp is from Heather's Tag It #1 set stamped in aqua mist, lavender moon, and dark chocolate. After I stamped the image, I placed a layer of clear adhesive cut into a 1 and 3/4" circle over top and covered it in glitter. The scallop circle is from the Limitless Layers die set. I finished off the card with Aqua Mist and a couple dots of dimensional adhesive to help the tag pop out a bit.
All supplies- with the exception of the border punch- are available at Papertrey Ink.
Thanks for looking!
Cheers!
