Great way to use that die - very pretty card!
I used some 1/2" paper scraps to build my background. Next, I die cut a speech bubble (Avery Elle- Oh Yeah Elle-ments) on white cardstock and stamped Paper Smooches Notebook Paper. Next, I stamped the sentiment and exclamation point from the Oh Yeah set. The arrow is from the Air Mail set. Before adhering the stamped speech bubble to the card, I die cut another bubble from black cardstock offset it a bit to function as a shadow. I really liked the contrast this provided. A few enamel dots finish off the card.
Well, that is all for me today! Thanks for stopping by!
Katie

Couldn't believe this card wasn't a winner, Katie, and I love the boldness and yet the sentiment still pops. Great job!

ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't win the last prize. Hopefully I might win the magazine. I need all the inspiration I can get.
Sorry - I didn't scroll down far enough to see your post on the blog hop. I read the heading and thought it was the one from the other hop.

ReplyDeleteOOh, a craft room overhaul sounds exciting. Will look forward to seeing some photos at the end. I'm so nosy about other people's craft spaces. lol
And I cannot believe this card was rejected - it is wonderful. Love the colours for starters, then throw in the speech bubbles and that fun sentiment - it is so cute!
